One thing to keep in mind when it comes to Feng Shui House is the necessity for cleaner air in your environment indoors. In order to achieve and maintain good Chi, you must take steps to improve the quality of air in your home. The main reason for this is because the air you're breathing indoors is more harmful than air outside.

Indoor pollution is a big problem when you are trying to employ good  Feng Shui at home or work. Getting consulting help, putting to use the Feng Shui compass and Feng Shui Ba Gua will not do you any good unless all things you are able to control are beneficial to you,  and that means cleaner air indoors. Luckily for you that there is quite a list of inside plants that make the grade for purifying the air in your home providing better Chi.

Before getting into a list of indoor plants that clean the air, you should understand why they are so necessary. You'll find that many pollutants indoors are very harmful that are called volatile organic chemicals, or VOCs. If you have plastic products, synthetic products, carpeting and even some kinds of plywood in the home, these items slowly break down releasing the harmful VOCs. Certain air purifying plants work wonders in clearing the air.

Here's a look at some of the best plants that purify air that will be beneficial to your Feng Shui House:

1. Boston Fern - This lovely lush green plant is is excellent at getting rid of pollutants like formaldehyde in your home. These plants are popular and will make your home beautiful; however, they do need quite a bit of care from you.
2. Rubber Plant - This is a favorite house plant that will remove various types of pollutants, like formaldehyde. The rubber plant is quite hardy and has a tough constitution that can withstand low light and cold temperature.
3. Peace Lily - This plant is quite popular in the spring, but be sure to grab a few of these pretty flowering plants that remove toxins in your indoors.
4. English Ivy - English Ivy is great for removing formaldehyde from the air. This plant can be easily grown and will purify the air.

These plants work well for keeping the air clean. However, they aren't a great idea in your bedroom if you want a good Feng Shui room. They put out a lot of energy, and when you're trying to sleep, this energy can be a distraction. You can use them in other parts of your home for good Feng Shui and air that is clean, but avoid using them in the bedroom.
